Who is KYRO?

We are a Christian non-profit organization dedicated to helping forgotten daughters—young, disadvantaged, unmarried mothers—overcome barriers such as shame, poverty, cultural limitations, and drug use.

We serve communities with high unemployment and limited access to education. Our diverse and inclusive approach provides encouragement and promotes gender equality, ensuring that all voices are heard.

We encourage hard work through vocational training, entrepreneurship programs, internships, and job placement. Our goal is to create opportunities for sustainable livelihoods, enabling these young women to build a better future.

By ministering to the hearts and minds of our daughters, we restore their hope and dreams for the future. We believe true redemption requires training in vocational skills, life skills, and self-esteem, all grounded in a strong spiritual foundation.

Rest assured, we support our teen mothers' success by providing healthcare, mentorship, and community support every step of the way.

“I have wiped out your wrongdoings like a thick cloud And your sins like a heavy mist. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.”

Isaiah 44:22

HOPE THROUGH VOCATIONAL TRAINING

Seamstress Program

KYRO empowers young girls by teaching them valuable trades, such as seamstressing. Through hands-on workshops and personalized guidance, these aspiring seamstresses gain essential skills that enable them to create beautiful garments and accessories. This training not only boosts their confidence but also provides them with the means to support themselves and their families. With each stitch, they’re weaving a brighter future filled with independence and opportunity.

Culinary Arts Classes

At KYRO Foundation, we empower young girls through our Culinary Arts program, designed to equip them with the skills needed to thrive as professional chefs. Our hands-on classes inspire creativity and foster confidence, helping participants cultivate a passion for cooking. By learning valuable techniques and gaining practical experience, these girls are not only preparing delicious meals but also laying the groundwork for sustainable employment. With each lesson, they gain the tools to provide for themselves and their families, creating a brighter future one dish at a time.

Hospitality Program

At KYRO Foundation, we understand the unique challenges faced by young mothers striving for independence and stability. Our Hospitality Training Programs are designed to empower these individuals with the skills and confidence they need to thrive in the hospitality industry. By offering comprehensive training and support, we equip young mothers to secure meaningful employment, enabling them to provide for themselves and their families. Together, we’re creating pathways to success, allowing them to build a brighter future.

  • We forgive others because Our Lord first forgave us.  True Forgiveness comes from the Lord.  To Redeem our forgotten daughters, KYRO provides spiritual guidance to receive and achieve true forgiveness.

Ephesians 4:32 - "Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you."

  • At KYRO, we recognize that education alone is not enough.  When a teen mom is welcomed into KYRO, her family is too. Proper CARE requires the family and community as well.  Family members are encouraged to join the KYRO Parent & Guardian Cooperative to guide and amplify their collective voice and spending power.  Then their crucial role as advocate for these daughters can lift the cultural pressures they face.  It's the power of community.

Care for our Daughter's also includes group and individual counseling sessions.  A Professional Counselor is available to attend to the general needs of the young women that need to work on their life circumstances.

Finally our Care extends through to our Placement Service.  Every attempt is made to place them with their internship sponsor or one of the coops or organization that are seeking skilled employees from our graduating Students.

Some impoverished families do not want their young girls involved with KYRO because they would lose support.  In these special cases, providing food to the families allows the most needy Daughters access to KYRO.  This breaks the cycle of poverty, leading the transformation they truly need.

Deuteronomy 15:11 - "For the poor will never cease to be in the land; therefore I commend you, saying, ‘You shall freely open your hand to your brother, to your needy and poor in your land."

  • We believe the biggest impact we can make in the lives of our Scholars is by providing a Loving environment where they feel loved, respected and cared for.

1 Corinthians 13:13 – "But now abide faith, hope, love these three; but the greatest of these is love."

We also want them to know the Love of the Lord.  We do this through our Discipleship Program.  Our Pastor teaches them Forgiveness, how they are Forgiven and how to forgive others.

  • Our forgotten daughters are provided with HOPE for their futures through vocational training.  Upon completion of our program, they possess employable job skills like Seamstress, Chef and Hospitality Specialist.  This training allows them to provide for themselves and their young families.

Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. “Plans to prosper you and not harm you.  Plans to give you hope and a future.”
